Bearer Bond

A bearer bond is a debt instrument that is not registered in the owner’s name, meaning whoever physically holds the bond can claim interest and principal payments. While historically popular, they are now rare due to fraud risks. In accounting, tracking ownership and compliance becomes challenging with such instruments.
